Job market gets more competitive with Coronado eighth graders

PALOMINAS — As if the job market wasn’t competitive enough, now employment seekers have to contend with sharply dressed Coronado Elementary eighth grade entrepreneurs.

Buena rally comes up short in state opener

BUCKEYE — Buena’s third straight trip to the state tournament ended the same way the last two did in a first-round loss.

On Saturday, the Colts, holders of the 24th and final seed, headed to Buckeye to take on Verrado, the No. 9 seed and came away on the short end of an 8-4 decision.

“I’m happy with the kids; they did a great job,” Buena head coach Mark Schaefer said. “It’s the kids. They worked hard and tried to learn stuff.”

Tombstone Chapter, Daughters of The American Revolution recognized Retired Army Colonel Doris Caldwell as a Woman in American History on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the Sierra Vista United Methodist Church.
