Joann Helen Campbell

Joann Helen Campbell, 63, a 29-year resident of Hereford, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015. She was born at Ft. Lewis, Wash., to Dale L. and Helen J. (Blydenstein) Winston.

Joann was a loving Wife and Mother.

She is survived by her husband of 42-years, Ronald Campbell; a daughter, Mary Darren of Arizona, and a son, Christopher Campbell of Arizona; and two grandchildren, Kiley Amber Madrid Campbell, and Sienna Helena Darren, both of Arizona.

Services will be held at a later date.

Bennie N. Armijo

Bennie N. Armijo, 97, of Sierra Vista, Ariz., passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2015, at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Cochise Memory Gardens. Eleanor Miller

Eleanor was born on January 12, 1918, in Denver, Colo., to Stella and Julius (Dutch) Uhrlaub. While she was still a baby, the family moved to Florence, Colo. Eleanor loved school and thought vacations lasted way too long. In high school in Florence she was named valedictorian of her class. 

After graduation she moved to Emporia, Kan., where she worked as a secretary in an uncles law office. While living in Emporia, she met John Miller on a blind date. It did not take many more dates before she and John were married in 1938. After their marriage they moved to Coffeyville, Kan., where John managed a service station. Their daughter, Linda, was born there. 

Robert David Nieuwenhuis

Robert (Rob, Bob) died suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 20. He was born in Williamsburg, Iowa, and moved to Arizona with his family when he was 7 years old. He was second in a long line of family members that attended Tombstone High School. Robert worked many years in the Sierra Vista area for Southwestern Plumbing while singlehandedly raising his two children before starting his own business (San Pedro Plumbing) in 1992. He then operated the business with his wife Sam until 2010.

John F. Nicolais

Dedicated pharmacist John F. Nicolais of Hereford, died in the loving arms of his family at the Hospice of the Valley, in Phoenix in the early morning of May 19, 2015. After many loving visits by family and friends, he slid away from us to heaven.

Dennis J. Brandolino Forester

Dennis was born in Dawsom, N.M., to MaryAnn and James Brandolino. Dennis began his Forest Service career on the Cibola National Forest (NF) in New Mexico. He later worked on the Santa Catalina Ranger District of the Coronado National Forest and then on to the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest. Dennis served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1968 to 1970 as an artillery surveyor.

John F. Nicolais

John F. Nicolais, 69, of Hereford passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at Hospice of Valley in Phoenix. Visitation will be held at Hatfield Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday evening. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday at Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic Church at 12 p.m. Burial will take take place on Tuesday, May 22, 2015, at the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Patricia Skeehan

Patricia Jean was born on Feb. 10, 1944, in Tacoma, Wash. to Clarence August and Ann Mac Glodowski. She grew up in Jerome, Idaho. Pat attended Carol College (Montana) and University of Nevada Reno.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; daughter, Alli Elizabeth; son, John Scot, and granddaughter, Jessica Lynn. She is also survived by her brothers, Dan and Steve; and her sister, Margaret Manes.

Beth Danica

Our dear Beth Danica (nee Kathy Pakos) joined her beloved Angels on May 1, 2015, surrounded by family and friends, following a five-year “dance” with cancer.

Beth resided in Crestone, Colo., with her husband, Bob Ellingham of Sierra Vista, since 1997. She lived in Sierra Vista from 1994 to 1997 where she practiced Reiki, hypnotherapy, and massage. In her earlier life, Beth was a successful free-lance writer and photographer.

She is survived by her beloved husband; her sister Chris Salter; and several nieces and nephews. Donations in Beth’s name may be made to Neighbors Helping Neighbors, P.O. Box 822, Crestone, CO 81131.

John Daniel Zanca

John Daniel Zanca, 54, of Tucson, Ariz., passed away from cancer on May 13, 2015. He was born Aug. 22, 1960, in Lodi, N.J.
