 Mary Bessie Boutilier, 80, of Vail, Ariz., went to be with our Heavenly Father on Oct. 20, 2012. She died peacefully at home while surrounded by many of those who loved her. Elmer Yates went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 18, 2012, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Tucson. Elmer was born in Upland, W. Va., to Benjamin and Maggie Yates, joining 12 siblings. Rosemary “Jacque” Markland, 82, of Glendale, Ariz., passed away on Oct. 12, 2012, of natural causes. She was born on May 29, 1930, in International Falls, Minn. According to the Cochise College Center for Economic Research’s latest survey of gas prices, conducted October 15—19, the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in Cochise County stabilized at $3.71 over the preceding two-week period.
