SIERRA VISTA — The most dominant high school boys basketball team in Southeastern Arizona isn’t Thatcher and it isn’t Buena. Pound-for-pound and blowout-for-blowout, that distinction belongs to the Eagles of Sierra Vista’s Berean Academy, who celebrated senior night on Wednesday with a typical 69-31 win over Skyview High School out of Tucson to remain unbeaten on the season.

“Our margin of victory is better than 20 points right now,” said first-year Berean head coach Jason Harrell. “We’re a senior-heavy team. We’ve got some athletes, got some guys who can play, and when we play like we’re capable of playing, we’re hard for teams to contend with.”
