SIERRA VISTA — Alexus Childs has carried the ball seven times this season for a total of -7 yards.

Since week four’s blowout loss to Mountain Pointe, she hasn’t seen any action. But with the Colts going into their next two games as heavy, heavy favorites, Buena’s third-string senior tailback figures to get more chances.

I’m the girl, and I don’t expect to come out and start, but it is fun to get in when I do get in,” Childs said. “I’m looking forward to playing and hopefully the team does good so I can get in.”

Putting away lesser opponents has been a problem for the Colts ever since week one.
