HEREFORD — There was a time when local gymnasts who reached an advanced stage could no longer train at Larry Goodhue’s little gym in town. Three, four, sometimes five exhausting nights a week, young athletes like Megan Donahue and Alesia Ash would pile in the family car and drive to Tucson for instruction.
