Cochise soccer team gets win against Pima
TUCSON — The Cochise women’s soccer team pulled out a big win against Pima Community College on Monday, 1-0.
Freshman Kayla Davis scored in the 16th minute with an assist from sophomore Yadi Garcia, giving the Apaches their first win against Pima in the last five years, according to former head coach Chris Bermingham.
“It was a great thing for the girls and a great thing for the soccer program as well,” first-year head coach Andrea Daniels said.
