BISBEE — Beating arch rival Douglas to win the coveted Pick was one thing. Coming down off cloud nine is another.
Whether the Bisbee Pumas are able to avoid a letdown will be severely tested tonight by the visiting San Manuel Miners who will be playing their season opener.
“They’ve come down from that and focused,” Bisbee head coach Chris Vertrees said. “It was a little bit of a challenge trying to get them focused on this game. That’s to be understood, they were really enjoying the results of the last game.”
