Buena girls second out of 17 teams

CASA GRANDE — The Buena girls track team nearly defended its title at the Casa Grande Invitational on Thursday, placing second in a field of 17 to a powerful Mesa Mountain View team that wasn’t there last season.
Mountain View took first with 161.5 points and Buena came in second with 112, more than 30 points ahead of third place. The Buena boys took sixth with 29 points. The boys meet was also won by the Toros.
