TUCSON — The Bisbee softball team opened its season with a come-from-behind win against Pusch Ridge on Tuesday night, 18-8.

It wasn’t as easy at it sounds,” Bisbee head coach Mike Bunnell said. “We were down 5-0 in the top of the fifth.”

Bisbee then bounced back with nine runs in the fifth, another nine in the sixth, and held the Lions in the bottom of the inning to bring the mercy rule into effect.
