A friend in need
Buena guard Malcolm getting all the support he can handle after mother’s tragic death
Editor’s Note: Anyone wishing to donate to Devonte Malcolm may make out a check to him and send it to Buena High School care of Dave Glasgow.
SIERRA VISTA — Cynthia Jones was walking home from her second job as a cook at Buffalo Wild Wings because her family did not own a car.
She crossed the road to Fry’s to pick up some groceries and needed to cross Highway 90 again to get home. At Colombo Avenue, she made it halfway before she was struck by an eastbound car.

I am glad you posted information to send donations. I would ask others to do
the same. It would be nice to see the community pull together on this. This
is a horrible tragedy for this young man who has so much in front of him and
now is not the time to let him down in life. I do not know you, but wish you
well Devonte, bless you and sorry for your loss.
