Perhaps you read over the weekend about Maricopa County sheriff’s officers raiding two Sizzler steak house restaurants in Phoenix.

Nine employees were arrested on suspicion of being illegal immigrants and using fraudulent documents to get jobs. Others are still being sought in the case.

As with any story, there’s action going on behind the scenes.

Title: Well now...

And just WHO’S at fault for entering a country illegally??
Oh sure, I can see a business establishment being held accountable for
employing a person who is not a legal citizen of the USA but, just who is
held accountable for that illegal alien violating the crime of illegal entry?
Where were these illegal aliens residing at? Will the property owners of the
dwellings these illegal aliens were living at also be held accountable for
their illegal status?

IM4TRUTH seems to think it’s ok for open borders and allow anyone and
everyone into our country, yet makes no mention of people fixing what is
wrong in their own country. Oh silly me, poor Mexicans can’t fight corrupt
government and drug cartels because THEY ARE UNARMED, only the criminals have
guns. And, to prove a point, IM4TRUTH would ban gun ownership here in the
U.S. if you have read any other posts. So intent on making the U.S. like
Mexico is not the direction this country should be going.

This operation was a complete waste of resources. The government should spend
their time and our taxes going after those committing violent crimes, and not
guys flipping burgers. These guys are trying to make a better life for
themselves, and not hurting anyone. It is not like the prudes (repubicans)
are going to flip burgers.

One year investigation nets 9 TAX PAYING illegals. With 90% of them not
paying taxes(according to FOX), you would think they would get them first.Or
the ones sitting around on welfare. Bet Showboat Joe had dinner and campaign
checks later that day with some business leaders and told them not to
worry…plenty more where they came from. Brewer was going to weaken the
worthless E-verify last year but that will have to wait until after the
election. Hey conservatives, Jan raised your taxes more Napolitano but keep
lapping it up….the party needs you!!!

I think you and IM4LIES are the same person. You two think exactly alike. You
believe that laws should not be enforced. Well Sheriff Joe is enforcing the
laws and that is a good thing. Apparently you want a lawless society that
lets every little misdemeanor go unpunished. If that happened then we would
have more crime because they would think they could get away with even more.
What part of ILLEGAL ALIEN don’t you understand?

of these whiny liberals will call the police if they come home and find their
home robbed. Shouldn’t they feel sorry for the person who stole from them?
They obviously needed it—right? So let’s start blaming the homeowner who
gets robbed because if they didn’t have things that the thief needed, the
thief wouldn’t come right? Wonderful analogy there liberals—just goes to
show the mentality. I actually don’t mind if these libs want illegals. But
let them PAY for them—but they don’t, they like to make emotional, idiotic
demands and have everyone else BUT themselves pay for it. Of course followed
up with a good does of “mature” name calling—racist, elitist, fascist—and
let’s not forget the new one—xenophobic. /Sigh Gets old after a while.

Can no one here read at the 8th grade level? Is this bleeding heart? Is this
editorial asserting that we should leave these poor illegals alone? No, it is
pointing out that the people who offer jobs to illegals and the flawed system
that lets them get away with it are a big part of the problem. It took two
years and a disgruntled employee informant to shake down a bunch of
undocumented workers becuase the system protects the coyotes’ end customers.
Wake up people, stop supporting illegal immigration just because you don’t
want to inconvenience business. Or are you opposed because going after
illegals in the workplace is more progressive regulation on the back of
 business.

talk about spin. you take a story about LEO actually enforcing the law and
make it seem tawdry and wrong. Do you not wish to see laws enforced? No
negative spin on the liberty-intrusion click-tick programs, no negative
opinion on personal income reducing taxes.

usafsam on Thu, 06/17/2010 - 6:56am

I agree with AZShooter on this one. Stop being bleeding heart liberals toward
those lawbreakers!! They knew they were breaking the law when they climbed
over or under that fence, so deserve to be rounded up like the criminals they
are. Illegal Entry, Tresspassing, Fraud, ID theft & tax evasion are crimes!!!
The document mills have become more sophisticated to try to beat the E-Verify
Mandate. All states should also impliment S.A.V.E.
http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h111-3308 When employers
receive a mismatch on a suspected illegal’s application they should report
the info to ICE using the the info on the application so ICE can pick them
up. They should also make public, via a database, the mis-match so other
businesses will refuse to hire the individuals.
