CHEER: Swine flu vaccine on the way
While initial supplies of the vaccine will be limited, state public health officials say there should be enough H1N1 vaccine available in Arizona for anyone who wants it before the end of flu season.
Arizona is scheduled to receive about 3.4 million doses, while Cochise County’s share is 71,000 doses.
The vaccine will not arrive all at once.
“We are expecting a very small number of doses to start with, approximately 1,100,” said Vaira Harik, director of Cochise County Health Department.
