Easier Said Than Done: Knowing obesity is a problem

There is good news about obesity in America.

The good news is we are aware there is a problem, and awareness always comes before change. 

For me, the worst news is the rise of obesity in our youngest children. The number of children 2 to 5 years old who are overweight has doubled to 10 percent; and another 10 percent are at risk.

A problem I see a lot, especially on all these losing weight reality shows,
are the overweight people saying they are tired of being “average”. When did
obese become average?
