Send to friendDorothy Lee McIver, a long-time 58-year resident of Sierra Vista and long-time educator, passed away peacefully after a long battle with dementia/Alzheimer’s at Prestige Assisted Living in Sierra Vista on Feb. 1, 2012. In her final days and hours, she was surrounded by the loving care and comfort of those who were there for her until the end.
I was A student,Aid to her,Also she was my friend.she tought me to belive in
my self,to us my mind, determid my abilitys.I set my goal and went to
Tec.school for welding.I have my work all around O’Boro Ky.She is my
insperation,Teachers like Mrs McIver are so far and between.So if you get one
, reach for the stars nothing is inpossible.I will see her one day in
heaven,Love your student and friend, LIZ.
