Volunteers to aid foster children needed

SIERRA VISTA — April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and the Court Appointed Special Advocate program, CASA of Cochise County, is focusing on educating the public and recruiting volunteers during its month-long campaign called “Advocate. Don’t Wait.” 

Throughout the remainder of April, the CASA program is distributing informational bookmarks, posters and recruitment cards in an effort to educate the community about child abuse and neglect, and to issue a call to action for people to advocate for children.
