Victims', survivors' rights discussed at seminar

SIERRA VISTA — Victims of crimes and their families are provided certain rights by Arizona law and a seminar held Friday spelled out exactly what those rights are and how to go about obtaining help to get them. 

Seminar organizer Jill McCain brought in three speakers from Pima and Maricopa County, so that people in Cochise County could benefit from the services they offer. 

Tucson civil law attorney Elliot Glicksman emphasized, “You have a right to an attorney in a criminal case as a victim. They will help guide you through the court process and keep you informed.”
