Early voting starts today

SIERRA VISTA — More than 30,000 registered voters in Cochise County have requested an early ballot for the Nov. 6 general election.

Beginning today, all 30,225 early ballots will begin being mailed out to those that requested them. Voters that have not requested an early ballot can still do so through Oct. 26 by emailing the Cochise County Recorder’s Office at recorder@cochise.az.gov or by calling 432-8354 or 432-8358, said Sylvia Gruhn, chief deputy recorder.

Additionally, any registered voter in the county can vote early, in person, at the Cochise County Recorder’s Office in Bisbee during normal office hours through Nov. 2, Gruhn said.
