Tombstone readies for recall election
On March 13, residents of the City of Tombstone will be going to the polls to vote in a recall election.
Tombstone Mayor Jack Henderson, who has been in office for about 15 months, is on the ballot to be recalled, with Tombstone business owner Stephen Schmidt running against him.
“This whole process started just six months after I was in office,” said Henderson. “The first couple of attempts failed, so there were a couple of delays before the recall could happen.”
