SIERRA VISTA — Citing politics and a fear of being held responsible for records that were lost prior to her taking the position, Huachuca City’s town clerk announced her resignation Thursday, less than two weeks after starting the job.
Danna Judd came to Huachuca City on May 23 and it was with “little regret but much sadness” that she announced her resignation in a letter submitted 10 days later.

Really? The City Clerk didn’t know these things? I’ve never even lived there and knew these things. Hmmm.. Does it really surprise anybody that HC is corrupt, just like the majority of politics/govt? People that beleive that Govt and polictics is good need to open their eyes..
Perhaps the staff at the Herald have not consulted a dictionary and therefore have inappropriately censored a single word.
There’s something wrong here alright. There are guys who think they are bigger than they are. It is quite obvious that there’s …, not just politics and jealousy as usual. Leave it alone and see what the future brings. Let these small time folks intimidate you and watch the future for Huachuca City go in the toilet. Anybody care?
Dear Determined to do Things Right: Keep your eyes, ears, and mind open to what goes on around you. Before you even took the job you should have known the reputation of political figures. Do you know any honest ones? The problems you have pointed out in this intervu are not uncommon. As a matter-of-fact, these kinds of threats, lies, denials, passing the blame, hiding files, and etc. in politics luminates throughout Cochise County. You cannot do the right thing and expect to remain in charge because you will not receive the support you need. Those who want to support you fear for their own positions and so cannot step forward in your defense. Our—Cochise County—court systems are out-of-control, our city government’s are out-of-control, and our school systems are out-of-control. Why is that? Once you find out why these major entities are out-of-control, then you can "Clean House" not only in HC, but all through Cochise County. Do you think you gave up too soon? I do.
Once again we are the laughing stock of county. There is only one way to resolve all the problems. CLEAN HOUSE. Everyone needs to be replaced on the town council including the Mayor. Know one on the council truely cares about this town anymore. There all to busy trying to recall each other. BTW, the cost to the tax payers is $3000.00 to $4000.00 dollars each time they decide to try and ruin each other. It is sad to see things falling apart like this. The time for change is now. People can contact the State Atty. General and the League of Cities and Towns. Enough is enough……
The Town of Huachuca City has a multi-million dollar budget and, with no Town Manager, the Mayor acts as the CEO, including authority to make emergency non-bid purchases up to $10,000 (each occurence) without city council approval. Some city council members are questioning some recents purchases and contract awards. Having access to a complete set of records - public documents - is not only prudent, it’s required by law. Missing documents may indicate something more serious than a sloppy filing system.
I for one am glad that the Mayor has sent this issue to the attorney general’s office. I hope that all citizens in and around Huachuca City feel that the issues in city government are out of control. Employees are being harrassed…Why??? Just because they (the employees) want to do their jobs with ethics and morals. Nobody should have to feel their job threatened.
Please take a few moments of your time and send a message to the attorney general. Or contact Mayor Robertson with comments to forward to the attorney general.

They and the Palominas fire dept. board, must have gone to the same school, or are drinking the same water.
Sumtingwong: You have made a good comparison with those type of problems. Do you anticipate a recall electiion for the Palominas Fire Board?
