Ruth Riza, from Arlington, Texas, and a member of the Arlington Gem and Mineral Club, views turquoise jewelry during Saturday’s annual Bisbee Gem and Mineral Show at the Queen Mine Tours in Bisbee. The show continues today and offers visitors a chance to shop for precious gems, minerals, jewelry and other unique household items. Tours into the Queen Mine are also available for those who want to explore the depths of the famous Bisbee copper mine.

A Service of Remembrance is scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Faith Presbyterian Church, 2053 Choctaw Drive. This is an annual community event of Valor Hospice Care and is a time to remember those who are no longer with us who have touched our lives and hearts. A reception will follow the service and releasing of the doves. Call 458-9450 for details or to provide your loved one’s name to be read.
AZgreyhounds will host an adoption day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Ramsey Canyon Feed and Pet on Highway 92 and Glenn Road.
