Buena High School’s JROTC places second in national competition

The Buena High School Army Junior ROTC team, competing in the Air Force Association’s CyberPatriot competition’s finals in Washington, D.C., placed second Friday. The championship team, winner of the Commander-in-Chief’s cup, is a Civil Air Patrol team from Orlando, Fla., that has competed in CyberPatriot in each of the contest’s three years. The third-place team, from the Air Force Junior ROTC program in Clearfield, Utah, was last year’s champion. See Sunday’s Herald/Review for a complete report on the competition.
