Dead bodies found in Coronado Cave

Officials are calling the situation a murder-suicide

SIERRA VISTA — Investigators are calling the deaths of two people found inside Coronado Cave south of Sierra Vista a possible murder-suicide.

On Thursday, the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office announced the discovery of the bodies of Walt G. Lemaire and Sheryl L. Allen, both 23, inside the cave located in the Coronado National Memorial in Hereford.

How terrible for all involved. My deepest condolences to all families and
