Miners throw blows in Cananea, Sonora
BISBEE — Several people were injured during recent fighting between mine workers and union members at the copper mine in Cananea, Sonora, Mexico, according to media reports.
El Imparcial newspaper reported on Thursday that a total of 10 people were injured and 26 people were arrested on Wednesday. Three of the injured were shot.
According to Reuters, the city government stated that one contract worker had died of bullet wounds, but it later retracted the report of the death.

The problems at the Cananea Mine looks like an opening for the Mexican Drug
Cartels. They have taken over Mexico and practically runs it.
Sounds like it is more dangerous working there now.
