In The Desert Garden: Rainy season brings out many wonders

I just received an e-mail from a dear friend who sent me a photo of a plant she could not identify. This event gave me the idea for another article. 

I have written about everything in my yard and am running out of material. 

There are several Spurges native to southern Arizona and Mexico that appear just about the beginning of the rainy season. Spurges are succulents usually containing a white sap that flows out if a stem is broken and can cause an allergic reaction in some people.
