SIERRA VISTA — On Monday, the first group of 532 National Guard members headed to Arizona’s border area with Mexico to help the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol.
In October all the guardsmen — soldiers and airmen — will be deployed, with another 28 providing administrative support, Arizona National Guard spokesman 1st Lt. Valentine Castillo said.

This entire fiasco is mccain smoke and mirrors. He knows that the last group
of thousands had zero impact on illegals. Now mcshame wants to spend billions
more for nothing and kelly supports wasting more money on zero returns.
Harmony you are correct this waste is unacceptable and I agree with you that
mccain needs to be voted out for this fiasco and political posturing he has
undertaken again at the expense of tax payers. Send the guard back home, they
have no business here!
The blame for the border security fiasco needs to go where it belongs: on the
federal government (as governed by the ruling elite) and not McCain and
Jesse. It is the federal government that is shirking its responsibility for
securing this nation and it is the federal government who is spending what we
don’t have. Every expenditure is marking up to each citizens bill. We owe
more than we will ever be able to repay. The only way to stop this insanity
is to clean out the current administration and the ruling elite in congress.
The republican party also needs to be cleaned out and replaced by true
patriots. There has got to be some leaders somewhere, right? Prove your
comments, IM4TRUTH, if you can!
You can ask her to prove stuff all day long, but she’s too cowardly to
respond with any facts. She is a hit and run poster. She also has poor
reading skills since she is blaming McCain for the troops but yet couldn’t
comprehend how the articles stated it was Obama who signed the papers to send
them there. If she actually had any facts to support, she would actually
respond to the many requests.

where was your concern over the Dems blowing billions of taxpayer dollars

Yeah Windsor I would love this person to actually back up her posts with
facts. We all have facts posted here but she always hits and runs because she
is just another dumb liberal sheep. Also you are correct. I bet this lib
drives a big SUV or some other gas guzzler that uses just as much oil as the
rest of us. She is obviously using electricity to post on here which some of
it is produced using oil and other dirty fuels so she has no problem with
that. If this person really wanted to stop all oil production then she would
not be posting here or driving a car or eating food that was delivered to the
store by oil and other things this person buys. In fact the plastics use to
make the computer she is using were made from petroleum products so unless
she is Amish then she is a liar.

against terrorism, does not mean manning the borders of this nation with
overwhelming fire power. It means building a mosque near where over 3000

for a fraction of that cost. even retired military would probably want a
piece of that action and so would other Vets.
