At 11 a.m. today, the Democrat will be holding another campaign stop, this time in Douglas, as she seeks election to a third term as the congresswoman for Arizona’s Congressional District 8, which includes all of Cochise County. The event will begin at 11 a.m. at the Gadsden Hotel, located at 1046 N. G. Ave.

SIERRA VISTA — For Democratic U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, the start of the campaign trail in Cochise County’s largest city was a wet one.
Fortunately, the Saturday event attended by nearly 60 people was held indoors.
As thunder rolled over the University of Arizona South administrative building, Giffords verbally lashed out against her Republican opponent, Jesse Kelly, who defeated the perceived GOP establishment candidate, Jonathan Paton, in Tuesday’s primary.

anyway. And absolutely nothing about his college, which he probably has
NOTHING… So he is an uneducated nobody. Now let’s get to his “combat

ruined our economy! We don’t need anymore “NOTHINGS” to be blindly elected to

Must be another MSNBC watcher. You’re supposed to respect someones vote, I
get that, however, how can you respects someone’s chose when it’s clear they
dont even know where their own candidate stands? This illustrates why we need
REAL education reform.
She didn’t mention the healthcare legislation or the stimulus that her
constituents had asked her to vote NO on. The majority of the public were not
for that & she ignored them to stand by Pelosi. This healthcare legislation
will cost many this year with higher premiums. She WILL vote for cap & trade,
which will raise utilities & only serve to enrich the Dems on the board of
the Chicago Climate Exchange. She voted FOR stimulus which has served no
purpose, done nothing for our economy & has shown to be an embarrassment
doing useless projects (thank god they stopped the squirrel bridge). Bye
Gabby—she knows she can’t run in Texas where she lives with hubby because
they would lench her out there. She has failed at answering to her
constituents desires via letters, e-mailings or phone calls. Her cronies send
out vague form responses & this is why she needs to be sent packing her bags
out of that plush office in D.C. that she desires more than helping, out
District 8 folks! Leave now Gabby.
So our options are someone who doesn’t really listen too many of her
constituents or someone who has no political experience. I hate it when
things come down to a lesser of two evils scenario. I might just skip voting
on this that way I won’t feel like I was a part of either of them winning.
Or perhaps I should just vote for Giffords because I am tired of seeing the
old Kelly supporter standing out on BST every morning.
At least he has supporters. The Giffords folks talk about supporting her but
you never see them on any corner. At least that person has dedication. I wave
at him every morning he is out there and he waves back. Probably more than
you will get from a Giffords supporter.
She doesn’t vote for us but for her personal gain. She needs to go in
November just like McCain. We the people need to take back Washington and
kick out every Career Politician because they’re doing it for personal gain
not as a public service which it began. I just hope the people finally had
enough crap from all of these people and will see it through the election
this November and again in 2012 to rid the other half. We stood by too long
believing that they would do the right thing just to see them vote against
the people. The time is now to take it back…..
Do you actually believe that Jesse Kelly is not going to vote for personal
gain? What possible evudence could you have to support that conclusion. The
silver spoon in that kid’s mouth was purchased by the taxpayers. He and his
father are professional pork hunters whose livelihoods depend upon juicy,
porky government construction contracts. You are telling us that the best
place this fox is “right here in this little old hen house.”
No there is no proof that he won’t but there is plenty of proof that that
idiot we have representing us, and I use that term lightly, has voted for her
personal gain and against the wishes of the people in District 8. Time for
her to pack her bags and move to Texas. Let them deal with her lies.
To be honest, I don’t care what Jesse Kelly is for. He has my vote purely to
make Obama a lame duck. I already know the destruction that is behind Gabby
and her votes. I don’t want more of the same. Kelly can’t be worse and if one
more Republican stops the insanity in the WH, for me the purpose has been
served. I am sick of liberal hypocrisy and spending. Where are all the
liberals who were so concerned about the deficit under Bush? Where are all
the liberals who protested so much about the cost of the Iraq war? Stimulus
is MORE than that. They campaigned on change, transparency—no more lobbyists
or pork barrel spending—more lies. Then on everything and every single day
the race card is being thrown. Sick of it, truly. This admin has taken race
relations to an all time low :(
