SIERRA VISTA — Sunday evening’s severe weather created communications and computer headaches for some businesses, school districts and cell phone users throughout the area.  

Micro-bursts and intense weather in southern Arizona caused fiber-optic lines to be washed away,” said Mark Molzen, regional spokesperson for Qwest. “We’re restoring services as quickly as possible.”
