Vandals strike at several Sierra Vista businesses

SIERRA VISTA — Glass windows and doors belonging to several businesses along Highway 92 were damaged during a string of vandalism Sunday night.

The scope of the damage stretched nearly a mile, from Delio’s to the north, to Family Dollar to the south.

In all, at least half a dozen businesses suffered broken windows or doors, according to the Sierra Vista Police Department and the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office.

At a time when our various businesses are suffering from a poor economy, they
don’t need this type of non-help. It’s bad enough to have to meet
un-necessary expenses during good economic times let alone during poor
 economy.
