Eastbound traffic on Charleston Road stops to let rainwater subside after Friday afternoon’s cloudburst near Tombstone. As the monsoon continues, the Arizona Department of Public Safety warns drivers never to enter a flooded roadway because it’s nearly impossible to know how deep the water is or how fast it is running. Authorities advise driving with your headlights on during storms, as well, to increase your visibility to other drivers.
