For kids and parents, open houses will help ease return to class

SIERRA VISTA — The first day of school is often a stressful time, but a little preparation can make it feel a lot less daunting. With the start of school just around the corner on Wednesday, local district schools are hosting open houses to provide parents and students the opportunity to get to know their classrooms and teachers. 

All of the elementary schools are holding open houses before the start of school, while Joyce Clark Middle School and Buena High School are holding them later in the month.

What about the Palominas School district? Not all of your readers live in
Sierra Vista. It would be nice to see more items from this area as well.
