SIERRA VISTA — Police investigating an armed robbery at the mall have made their third arrest.
Wesley Hollis, 20, was arrested about 5 p.m. Friday when he came to the police station for a matter unrelated to the investigation into the June robbery, said Detective Tim Wachtel. Hollis is charged with armed robbery, aggravated armed robbery and three counts of aggravated assault.
Two previous suspects arrested in the robbery, Darrick Davis and Rondric Davis, ages 17 and 15, were arrested on the same charges this week. Both are charged as adults.

This was obviously a case of racial profiling, all the suspects were of
African-American descent, have the police been told they can’t do this?

The AK-47 Assault Rifle has been around for quite a spell but is still a
deadly weapon. For these young people to be armed with such a dangerous
weapon makes them deadly adversaries to be concerned about.
Thanks SVPD. Good work. Good luck on getting the rest of this mess swept up.
I can only hope that parents and the young folks out there take this to
heart. A little thought before action can sure make life a lot simpler and
much more pleasant.
