So Henry, when will the government of Mexico create more industry to help
improve their economy so there business can pay a better wage than our
service industries do?
Wouldn’t a better wage in Mexico eliminate our illegal immigration problem?
Since you, Cassandra, IM4TRUTH, & Ran Talbot are firm believers in government
regulated/owned businesses over a free enterprise, free market system of
economics why Mexico could have an economy heads –n- shoulders above every
nation in North & South America!!!
Unfortunately….. Our friend Henry doesn’t have any faith in the words he
preaches
I hadn’t really been following this thread but, since I was called out, I
figured that I might as well hammer you again. Government spending in
backward, socialist Mexico accounts for 22.2% of GDP. In the free-market US,
it accounts for 37.4%of GDP. Of course, most of that is defense spending and
the support of stay at home types like yourself. Income and corporate taxes
in Mexico max out at 28%, though many businesses pay a 17% flat rate as an
alternative, and tax revenue as a percentage of GDP is 9%. In the US, income
and corporate taxes max out at 38% and the tax revenue/GDP ratio is 28.3%. By
the way, these stats come from heritage.org, lest you suspect left leanings.
Remember, if it weren’t for the constant flow of tax-payer dollars from the
benevolent and nurturing mother-state, the only jobs in Sierra Vista would be
a couple dozen ranching gigs, a feed store and maybe a vet.
Just keep tossing mindless made up nonsense maybe in 50,000 posts something
will stick. You should be sued for misrepresentation…use of the word
“thinker” in your handle. LOL
Henry believes the cause for illegal immigration in this country/state is the
fault of the service industries for tempting them with jobs
By Henry’s logic then;
There would be fewer home robberies if there were no valuables on the
property
There would be fewer rape victims if more women just said “Yes”
Murder would no longer exist if people would just give in to the demands of
their attacker
There would be no more poverty if unskilled, uneducated people were paid
equal to those that are skilled & educated…
Are you going for the record of non-stop nonsense? Hiring illegals is
illegal. The punishment, enforcement, and requirements on employers are
completely lax and an incentive for the greedy to break the law. If jobs were
not given by these law breakers no illegals would get jobs and none would
come here. What does that have to do with your moronic examples? Absolutely
nothing. A better example would be the government fortifying/guarding drug
dealers homes so that junkies can’t steal heroin from them then never
arresting a drug dealer again. Your last sentence is pure babble. It really
isn’t an act with you is it?
You want to blame a business for illegals entering our country!!
Yet, you don’t have a peep to say about those that rent their properties to
illegals
You don’t have a peep to say about hospitals providing health care services
to illegals
You don’t say a peep to say about government social programs provided to
illegals
But OMG!!!! get those wealthy business owners!!!! It’s their fault why a
person(s) makes the decision to enter our country illegally & violate our
nations sovereignty!!!
It’s their fault why these people throw rocks out our BP agents!!
Police officers questioning a person(s) legal citizenship status….. BAD!!!!
A business questioning a person(s) legal citizenship status….GOOD!!!!
LOL!!!! That’s your twisted logic Henry!!!!
Meltdown?
“McCain thinks immigration reform should only take place after the border has
been secured to a point where the governors of the border states certify that
it is secured…”
Talk about dumb. I guess he thinks most citizens are too daft to realize that
most politicians and government employees (regardless of party) have
absolutely no interest in securing our border.
The only acceptable certification of border security should be by ALL border
watch/militia groups that advocate for vigorous enforcement of our laws and
respect for our sovereignty.
Those who do (or seek to) aid, abet and even reward lawbreakers spit on their
sworn oaths, citizens and legal residents, and the United States of America.
Langer: Regards your comment securing our Mexican Border you fail to think
about the people who live along the Border. There have been lives lost and
threatened along the border. I lived there for 25 years and had my property
trashed by Illegal crossers. My Hispanic neighbors had the same problem.
Their views are the same as mine - get Legal.
The way I see it the problem stems from EVERY administration looking at this
as the SAME problem. Border security should be beefing up the border, more
fence, more agents, more equipment. Stopping the BLM and the EPA from
blocking BP from doing their job. Immigration reform is altering the laws of
our country, i.e. amnesty. From Clinton, Bush and now Obama—they all want to
offer amnesty. We have effective immigration laws, they aren’t enforced.
Reform means change and the change is to allow the illegals that are here to
remain. This has been done twice before and does nothing to change the
situation. Each president so far bundles these two separate things into one
catagory and because their is so much dissension over amnesty, nothing goes
through and nothing gets done. Instead of wasting time doing stupid nonsense
like this boycott (which is hurting the state financially—like that is a
smart idea)—people need to go after businesses and govt for this mess.
