BISBEE — A rancher who was killed by a suspected illegal immigrant at his 35,000-acre ranch northeast of Douglas earlier this year died of multiple gunshot wounds, according to a recently released autopsy report.

On March 27, Robert Krentz Jr., 58, was checking the ranch at about 10:30 a.m. He notified his family he encountered a southbound illegal immigrant and had called the U.S. Border Patrol, according to the report.

Title: Autopsy??

This poor man had many gunshot wounds in his body and they had to preform an
autopsy to find out how he died??

“multiple gunshot wounds…” The murderer wanted to be sure his rounds put
Krentz away for good. I hope the same for the killer!

All circumstantial evidence points towards an Illegal alien murdering Rancher
Krentz. Yet, all this hoopla wants to deny that an Illegal was involved. The
AZ Governor tries to pass legislation to eliminate the problem and our whole
country comes apart denying it ever happened. I don’t understand all the
other states and our own citizens being in denial about this whole thing. I
get the feeling that those states and people would like to open our Southern
Border and invite everyone to invade our country. I feel that I fault a
worthless WW2.

Circumstantial evidence points to a cartel hitman. How would have SB 1070
have done anything to stop a armed hit man from killing Mr. Krentz? Are you
telling me that a man trespassing with a rifle wouldn’t be arrested without
SB 1070? The drug smugglers are in possession of illegal drugs ,are armed and
trespassing on private lands . They travel through ranch land to AVOID the
authorities. Currently local law enforcement in this county is already
holding for the border patrol those breaking the law and suspected of being
smugglers or illegal crossers. In WW II, did the army send it’s men wandering
around France looking for Germans and manning border checkpoints ….or did
it set up a front and attack the enemy? SB1070 is a useless law to get votes.

Title: Now Henry

Those killers didn’t come here to go to work for a Fortune 500 scum company &
Mr. Krentz just happened to be standing in their way from seeking employment.

Title: useless law

No Huachuca Henry it is not a useless law. Yes it does not do anything at the
border itself but it is a step in the right direction. Stop being part of the
 problem.

Rest in peace, buddy.

A hard story to read, learning how brutal Mr. Krentz’s last minutes must have
been. For the fools opposing SB1070, I hope the end the same way. And those
for amnesty should move to another country.

Huachuca Henry on Thu, 06/10/2010 - 10:53am

You should talk to the ranchers in that area. They don’t support the
political solutions we are getting from our elected officials one bit. In
fact, they blame the politicians and the border patrol union for Mr. Krentz’s
death. SB1070 is a political farce so that real reform and defense of the
border never gets done. It’s reelection time and you have been tricked once
again!!! Without checkpoints, no smugglers would have been on that ranch.
Letting any drug smuggler with less than 500 lbs of pot walk free combined
with a 80 mile wide border zone is turning this county into Northern Sonora.
It is not working and having the`police ID people inside the country is a
waste of man power. Stop them at the border and at the place of employment.
Either legalize/tax pot or end the hand slapping for smugglers, dealers and
 users.

Title: Henry...

I do talk to some ranchers and what you are saying is complete lies. Even
ranchers that have posted here do not favor what you spew. Go search their
page on Facebook—they are in favor of Operation Stonegarden and SB1070. Look
it up Henry—Operation Stonegarden, it is the same thing as SB1070, it gives
funding and training to local police to question and check immigration
status—hmm…sound familiar?
