Program aids emotionally suffering veterans

TUCSON — Combat veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan have many resources available to heal the wounds of war, but the pain can linger in the form of emotionally crippling memories.
Post-traumatic stress disorder can strip veterans of their ability to cope with life back home. Local veterans, their families and support networks have a free tool available to help them leave behind the internal war.
