Lineup emerges for upcoming vote

Arizona and Cochise County voters will have plenty of choices when they go to the polls in primaries this summer.
The final list of candidates for the primaries shows there will be contested races for many of the seats. That foretells a lot of campaigning for the votes of registered Democrats, Republicans and Libertarians.

Ken Bennett must go, any Secretary who didn’t know 191,000 households were
directed to the wrong polls in the special election isn’t fit to serve as the
Arizona’s elections official. Of the other candidates, I prefer Wercinski who
I heard speak a few weeks ago. I liked what I heard. I’m no Dem, but I want
someone competent in charge of our elections.
We need to rally behind the option “None of the above” as a write-in with the
consequence of not filling the position.
