Border Patrol agents find 3 bodies in past several days

SIERRA VISTA — A body was found southwest of Hereford by U.S. Border Patrol agents on Monday.

Agents from the Sonoita Border Patrol station found the decomposed remains less than two miles from the U.S.-Mexico border, according to a news release from the agency’s Tucson Sector.

Agents secured the scene and contacted the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office, the release stated.

For those who dont read the paper or watch the news often, this would be a
huge surprise. But for all the rest of us out here, its a normal day in
Cochise County and Arizona. From May till around September of every year,
Illegal’s are found dead in the desert almost every single day. The Sheriff’s
in Douglas and Bisbee respond to more dead bodies in one summer than most
other counties do in a ten year period. And Border Patrol either finds the
bodies or its reported to them by another illegal who was caught and told
them about it.

Another reason we need a better barrier on the border. It would prevent stuff
like this.
