Three recent public opinion polls offer some insight into the politics of the governor’s race as well as sentiment on the backlash over Arizona’s illegal immigration law. Here’s a look at the poll results:
GODDARD FOR GOVERNOR
Democrat Terry Goddard would lose the race for governor if he faced off against incumbent Jan Brewer, according to a new statewide poll.
But he might be able to defeat any of the other key Republicans if they managed to oust Brewer in the GOP primary.
