BISBEE — “It’s a stealth assault on Latino Arizonans.”
Bisbee City Council member Ray Rodgers voiced his opposition to Arizona’s Senate Bill 1070 during a special meeting Thursday night to a standing-room-only crowd of residents.
The meeting was called to approve a resolution denouncing the bill and supporting cities like Tucson and Flagstaff that are taking on the state in a lawsuit based on racial profiling.

I think you need to do a little more research on these stats. I don’t believe that report actually came from INS or the FBI. I’ve seen this posted over and over again over the years and the stats sometimes are different. I’m just trying to help save you from a little embarrassment. I think these types of articles are used as scare tactics to the uneducated.
Our family and friends want to send a message of support to Governor Brewer
for her courage in the Illegal immigration debate. We along with over 70% of
the American people agree with the Arizona Immigration Law. We live in New
York and have daily instances of violent crime committed by Illegals. Obama
lacks the courage to secure our borders or protect law abiding American
citizens. But you Governor Brewer care about the security of our Nation and
safety of our families. Just ignore the liberal media and Democrats that
demonize your efforts we will vote them out in November.
Does racial profiling count only for Mexican illegal aliens or are those from
Egypt, Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan, Somalia, Russia, China, etc.,
etc., counted in as well? Everyone is coming across our Southern border and
are all living among us.
To start with, SB 1070 has ALWAYS been a a law in the United States.
Immigrants who come to this country legally are required to carry their
immigration papers/documents, i.e. Border Crossing Card and etc., at all
times. Anyone who jumps on the “Oh, brown people are being discriminated
against in Arizona” band waggon are the ones who are making it a racial
issue. Does everyone seriously think that the ONLY immigrants effected by SB
1070 are ones from Mexico, or ones who are brown? What about Canadians,
Europeans, Asians and other ethical groups that visit Arizona, a lot of which
are here illegally. Or, what about the all the Chineeses that cross the
border illegally, EVERYDAY, in Nogales, AZ. EVERYONE of an adult age,
regardless of their skin color, is required to carry an I.D. by law. Most
people are ignorant to this law, because it is loosley enforced. BTW, it was
reported that there were over 200 people at the protest in Douglas, it was
more like 25 to 30. Ask me how I know.
What the brainiacs at the Bisbee City Council do not understand is that 1070
was meant to be an inflammatory, political middle finger to the Feds, and
nothing more. Come on people, quit wasting your time on a law that has no
teeth to it! Ultimately, such laws cannot be enforced UNTIL WE SECURE THE
BORDER!! With due respect to the fine soldiers who built it, that pathetic 10
foot wall is a joke! We need a real wall: something akin to the Berlin Wall.
Make it 15 feet high, solid concrete, with razor wire along the top and
bottom of that bad boy, and maybe bullet-proof guard towers every thousand
feet! We cannot afford it? That’s what they said about sending men to the
moon. But America did it anyway. Bisbee has been completely overrun by
vacuuous, pantywaste liberals who care more about looking good to the
Reconquistas than standing up for law and order. I grew up in Bisbee. I am a
child of miners going back to 1900, and now I am ashamed to say I am from
there.
You have no clue what the Berlin Wall was all about or you would not be
suggesting it. It frightens me that anyone would even consider such a
horrific solution.
The Berlin wall was built to keep the citizens IN; the AZ wall is needed to
keep the Illegal parasites (no matter their country of origin) OUT!
The Berlin Wall was built to keep the Eastern Berlin citizens from being
free. It also made prisoners out of the Western Berliners upon a whim of a
communist. Sadly, it saw the deaths of many seeking freedom. There is no
correlation in a Arizona/Mexican Wall to the Berlin Wall, nor should there
ever be one.
