Group plans march in Douglas
A community-based grass roots organization is planning to hold a peace march and gathering in Douglas later this month to protest Arizona’s new immigration law.
The all-day event will take place May 15 at Customs Avenue, which is located along First Street and Pan American Avenue, said Del Cabarga, who is helping organize it.
“We do have some speakers which we might have to adjust the schedule for to be able to meet their schedules, so the tentative start time is 10 o’clock in the morning,” he said.

This sickens me. After reading the recent apprehension of smugglers, sex
offenders and DUI offenders, all here illegaly from MEXCIO, people should be
marching in support of the bill. More freeloaders wanting their day.
