BISBEE — “Talk is over, time to act. We demand action.”

The Arizona Cattle Growers Association offered the statement in an 18-point proposal presented to the public and lawmakers Tuesday afternoon in Phoenix. With the recent killing of Cochise County heritage rancher Robert Krentz, possibly by an illegal immigrant, the association has determined that direction is needed to arrive at a  reasonable, effective solution.

Looks like it took a killing before people realized we had serious problems
along our Mexican border. Now everyone wants to get in on the act.

So are you saying you want protections guaranteed under Article IV, Section 4
of the Constitution denied the citizens of Arizona until the rights granted
by the Second Amendment of the Constitution are denied? Another way you might
have said it: I’d rather see more innocent people killed by the failure of
the federal government to meet its obligation to secure the border because I
disagree with AZ gun law and dislike guns and the rights of gun owners in
general. Also, what evidence supports the notion that armed illegals are
purchasing guns at gun shows and using them to commit crimes? BTW, I agree
the loophole should be closed - Law abiding citizens have nothing to fear.
But one law not enforced at the safety and expense and the very life of
others? And to prove a point? Not right-headed thinking.

It’s very disconcerting to me that you disagree with the recent restoration
of the 2nd amendment rights to the citizenry of AZ. Like it or not, it is the
LAW now. You are the minority. Many of us are relieved that law-abiding
citizens will soon be allowed to carry their weapons concealed. I hope that
you display several “gun control” stickers on your vehicle. Criminals will
KNOW you are unarmed. We will see the “gun control” stickers, & it will
prevent us from attempting to prevent the criminals’ assault, robbery, rape
etc. In fact, I have bottled water & snacks in my van so we can enjoy a snack
while we watch you get the snot beaten out of you. I know I would NEVER
presume to use a gun to save you (you may be offended). If you live, I am
sure some one will call an ambulance to take you to the local ER, they will
finish you off (& deny you pain killers too!)I really like it when these gun
control stories have a happy ending, don’t you? No reason to fear? Why was
Rob Krentz murdered?

The state legislature just passed SB 1070 which makes it a crime to be
illegally in Arizona. This will enable the state police forces to check if a
person is legally in the USA. Probable cause of suspicion of the same
triggers checking a persons documentation, etc. This will help the police
forces in Phoenix, Tucson, and elsewhere to eradicate gangs of illegal
aliens. However, the border must be properly secured to stem the flood of
illegals crossing into America. Legislation is OK but it needs to be enforced
vigorously with action and not just talk. The opposition calls this
“anti-immigration legislation. Others call it anti-illegal immigration
 legislation!

“With regard to border security, I am not taking ‘No,’ for an answer from
the federal government” I hope that the citizens, especially in the border
states, will take that same stance as our governor. It’s past time for action
one way or another, action will happen! Enough is enough!

Walt guess what… It makes no sense for the federal government to get
involved until AZ takes care of its own business first. I have emailed
numerous letters to many representatives asking them not to increase border
security until AZ gets its act together and stops providing easy access to
guns to illegals. The problem isn’t with the border the problem is inside the
 border.

Quoting Supervisor Searle: “Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, Sen. John McCain and
Sen. Jon Kyl are just three out of 500 legislators. It gets frustrating…”
Yep, it sure does, when Open Borders lunatics like McCain and Giffords go to
Congress! Kyl isn’t much better; he was carrying McCain’s water during the
2007 Amnesty push! Yes, they’re just three out of 535 to be exact, but
they’re among the WORST! You’d think anyone who claimed to represent a border
state would be shutting down Senate buisiness via a filibuster until this
deplorable situation is addressed. But, McCain and Kyl are RINO’s. As for
Giffords, illegal aliens are her top concern. Mere US citizens can go Pound
 Sand!

Is easier done than said. Just enforce the current immigration laws, allow
the B.P. Agents to do their job, stop organizations such as the ACLU from
trying to prosecute our B.P. agents who’s job it is to keep us safe, & start
upholding our U.S. Constitution as the supreme law of the land by forcing our
elected officials to protect our nation.
We used to do this very well over 100 years ago when there were so many few
Bureaucracies screwing our country up.

Do you realize that you’re truly naive when it comes to border policy? It
would not matter one way or the other if you stopped arms going in from the
USA or not! The drug cartels get their weapons while committing crimes in
their own nation, especially when they kill members of the Federal law
enforcement agencies in Mexico! They take those arms of their dead bodies &
use them as part of the arsenal they have aquired. Furthermore, Hugo Chavez &
Raul Castro send enough weapons into Mexico without any control of that
trade. Castro & Chavez have more AK-47 assault rifles than the United States
have at any gun shows! Furthermore, they also have other machine guns readily
available & sent to these drug cartel families. Get a grip 4Truth, we are not
the ones who are the leading venue of Mexican cartels get those weapons. It
is very diificult for an FFL dealer in getting automatic weapons into that
nation. It behooves one to stop being naive & do your research completely,
not snipets. Wake Up
