Free dump day to be offered in Douglas

Send to friendDOUGLAS — The Douglas solid waste refuse transfer station will be hosting a free dump day March 27.
This is for residents only. All other customers will be charged normal rate.
The following are recyclable materials being accepted: scrap metal, cardboard; chipboard (cereal boxes, other consumer packaging), newspaper, magazines, office paper, shredded paper, #1 and #2 plastics, aluminum and tin cans, computer components and other electronic waste, motor oil and filters, unused paint and up to five used tires.
