SIERRA VISTA — A new agreement between Cochise College and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University will allow students of the community college to transfer credits toward a degree from the aviation school.

Depending on course of study, students can transfer up to 63 credits, said Judith Doerr, director of curriculum, learning and assessment at Cochise College.

The transfer agreement was signed at a brief ceremony featuring representatives from both schools Thursday morning at Cochise College’s Sierra Vista campus by Provost Verlyn Fick.
