Bike rodeo puts kids on a course for safety
SIERRA VISTA — The earlier children are exposed to proper bicycle riding techniques, the safer they will be.
That’s the essence behind the Kiwanis Club of Sierra Vista’s Bicycle Safety Rodeo, which celebrated its fourth year on Saturday.
“We’re trying to catch the kids before they develop bad habits and get hurt on the street,” said Fred Close, chairperson of the event.

Sounds like an excellent plan to me. Our children need to learn safety. I
tried to teach safety to my children. This sounds like a better plan and
perhaps my grandchildren and greatgrandchildren can benefit.
