Sigh… I really thought you guys would have stopped this. You’re closing my
school, congrats…but it’s not going to get better. When children are
suddenly under educated, I don’t want to hear your generation complaining
about our education being stupid in office.

You want to take your date out for dinner, but you have no job. This means
you will be spending SOMEONE ELSE’S MONEY.

You could plan to go to a VERY nice restaurant, with mood lighting, great
ambiance and a better chance of making a GREAT impression on your date…or
you could go to Denny’s.

While the fine restaurant has “Pheasant Under Glass” and a variety of
rich deserts; the price will be MUCH different to the price at Denny’s. At
both restaurants, you can eat your fill… and someone ELSE is paying for it.
In this situation, you can either settle for an “inferior” date or find a
way to contribute to what YOU WANT. Later in life, you’ll be amazed at how
much is “unacceptable” when someone else is paying; but is perfectly FINE
when the money is the money YOU had to WORK for.

Stupid isn’t a matter of education: Some people graduate from Harvard and
are still stupid. No amount of education can fix stupid.

“You can’t fix STUPID!”

Oh, I take it you’re one of these stupid people? To be honest, sir, I
wouldn’t use anyone’s money. You don’t need money to have fun. However, we DO
need money for an education.

I bet an old geezer like you is getting plenty of money from the government.
Social Security, medicare, maybe a fat pension??? Please Obama cut some money
from medicare so scums like this can stop sucking money off the system and
attacking children.

Unlike you, Herb, many who are receiving the benefits earned them by either
serving the government or by receiving what they paid into like social
security and medicare. Monthly payment was paid into them as you pay into an
investment or life insurance. If you pay into medical insurance every month,
don’t you expect payment of that when you need it? Where do you get your
money, Herb? Stop treating old warriors like they are welfare recipients.
They made their sacrifices, have you? Why do you call honorable people “scum”
and “attacking children?” Are you an unhappy man, Herb? Or are you just an
Alinsky fan?

good, close ‘em consolidate ‘em and teach only whats minimally required by
the state. if the state wanted highly educated folks they’d fund education.
ditto the dolts in this county.

Title: TAX

Why is it that when I was growing up and going to public schools, the sales
tax was 3%. I must have gotten a terrible education.

Make a list from the voter’s roll; and all the good folks that voted in favor
of the over-ride tax increase…gets billed for double what would have been
required of all had the over-ride passed!

Those who feel they pay enough taxes supporting schools and illegals wouldn’t
have more of their limited resources stolen by Government.

And those who feel that more good money need thrown down the rat-hole called
“public education”; would see this “need” met.

This would be a Win-Win for everybody!

Even if my idea “can’t be implemented”; YOU are FREE to send in as much money
as you feel the situation requires.

Got your checkbook out yet?…or is it only “desperately needed” when it’s
spending SOMEONE ELSE’S money?

Wildfire has burned lies yet again.
finance.yahoo.com/news/Tax-Day-rhetoric-aside-apf-3276228499.html?x=0 You pay
less now in taxes than you ever had in your life. And all the right winged
whalers do is whine, whine, whine. It is just typical rhetoric that these
extremist spout, but it is simply not true. Prop 100 is needed and will save
thousands of jobs and at least one school and dozens of teaching jobs in our
community. Our teachers deserve better than the lies that wildfire spouts.
Our teachers deserve our support!

Your comments just prompted me to vote “NO” on Prop 100 on the mail in ballot
I received the other day. Thanks!
