English-as-a-second language classes (beginning, intermediate and advanced) will be offered Jan. 19 to March 11 by Sierra Vista United Methodist Church. Register between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. today or Tuesday at the church, corner of Buffalo Soldier Trail and St. Andrews Drive. Classes will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays. Title: something else

can’t folks in this town come up with something that is not like watching
grass grow? Sierra Vista does not have anything for us that does not involve
a lot of walking. Those of us with COPD could use some activities that don’t
require walking milesx of unfriendly miles.Acoffee shop un like most where we
could gather have a cup and chat would be nice.
