Military Update: Law expands veterans’ benefits
The cost of war — on veterans’ health and taxpayer wallets — will loom a little larger in the new year.
The Department of Veterans Affairs will issue a final rule to claim adjudicators to presume three more diseases of Vietnam veterans, including heart disease, were caused by exposure to Agent Orange.

My hearing has deteriated ever since WW2. I have been to the VA for help in
obtaining expensive hearing aides for almost four decades. My paper work
appears to be stuck in Phoenix. I have been told that there is a large
backlog. All I can do is wait and hope for the best.
The government is so quick to send the troops into a war, but way too slow to
take care of them afterwards. I don’t care how much it costs, take care of
EVERY soldier that has fought for America.
