Thrown 75 feet, victim leaves hospital

 SIERRA VISTA — A Tucson hospital has released one of two people who 

were airlifted Sunday night after being thrown out of the bed of a pickup during a collision.

Ashley E. Collins, 18, has been discharged from University Medical Center, where she was taken along with Joshua Disney, 21. They were thrown from the bed of a 1992 Toyota pickup when it collided with another vehicle. Disney remained in the hospital and is reported to be in fair condition, said Loretta McKenzie, UMC spokeswoman.
