SIERRA VISTA — As wintry weather sets in and temperatures drop, many residents are turning on their heaters for the longest stretches in months. But the local fire marshal says without proper maintenance, these devices could lead to serious health and safety issues.

In the last three days, we’ve had probably half a dozen calls related to heating appliances,” said Fire Marshal Paul Cimino of the Sierra Vista Fire Department.

There’s some good ideas here on preparing for winter and cold weather.
Reminds me of all the hoopla that is made on global warming and the effects
that it has on the world. The politicians really like to play word games with
this subject.

Is this the normal seasonal climate change that we are experiencing or is it
as result of Global Warming? I think the former as is indicated by the Global
Warming hoax that is revealed in the current “ClimateGate?” As one of the
exposed scientist recently said: “Just because there is no data supporting
global warming caused by humans doesn’t mean there is no global warming (or
words to that effect).” Is that guy in a straight jacket yet? And now
President Obama is going to Copenhagen to sign us up for carbon trade, etc.
based on the global warming hoax (do we have a straight jacket for him too?)
Now is the time to scream at our senators to kill the Cap & Trade Bill which
is also based on this hoax. If we don’t, we will pay through our nose to
support unnecessarily the hoax? Just a reminder, Rep. Giffords voted for the
Cap & Trade Bill in the house.
