BISBEE — While most folks are looking forward to retirement long before they reach 80, not so for Doc Behney.
A Cochise County institution, Charles Behney, a veterinarian who owns Cochise Animal Hospital in Bisbee, has been treating dogs, cats, horses and cattle at that practice since 1961.
Today, he celebrates his 80th birthday. And he’s still going strong.
During a 2007 interview, Behney shrugged off any suggestion of retirement.
